Welcome to Monifieth and District wine circle blog.
We exist to promote the hobby of amateur beer & winemaking and host talks and demonstrations for making beers, cocktails, liqueurs, fruit punches and wines. We meet for social events in addition to our yearly programme and this involves having Anniversary & Birthday Nights, Barbeques, Car Treasure Hunts, Games Nights and Charity Nights etc.
Our present membership is at 23 and we are hoping to increase in the future. About 50% of our members have joined to enjoy the social side of our organisation, there is no need to make beer or wine as long as you are prepared to come along and enjoy yourself!
We meet from 7.30pm to 10pm on the second Wednesday of each month from September to June except December when we have our Christmas social.

Our organisation is affiliated to the Tayside Amateurs Winemakers Association as well as to Scottish Amateur Winemakers.
